Summer Camp A typical day...
consists of a lecture on tactics and strategy, appropriate for the level of the class, followed by a practice game to hone students’ learning.
The students are divided into groups based on ability. The beginners get the special attention they need while the advanced students receive deeper instruction. Classes are 60 to 90 minutes in duration.
Playing chess and sharing common interests with others enhances their sense of self-confidence and belonging.
