Note: CalChess membership discount not available for online enrollment... it is only available through mail or onsite registration because Paypal charges about 3-4% transaction fees. Memorial Day Weekend Festival to be available later.
Memorial Day Festival
Main Event 3-Day = $59. 6 Sections: Master | Expert | A (1800-1999) | B(1600-1799) | C (1400-1599) | D/E/Unr (u1400 or unrated). May 2008 Supplement Ratings will determine section unless accompanied by play up request.)
Main Event 2-Day = $59. 6 Sections: Master | Expert | A (1800-1999) | B(1600-1799) | C (1400-1599) | D/E/Unr (u1400 or unrated). May 2008 Supplement Ratings will determine section unless accompanied by play up request.)
Play-up Request for Memorial Day 3-day and 2-day events= $19.
Note: Minimum rating of 2100 required t o play in Master (2200+) section (2000 for u18) and 1800 required to play up in Expert (2000+) section (1700 for juniors). A player can play up max 2 sections ($38)..
Blitz Cash Prizes = $15 1-2 Sections: Prizes based on rating point gains.
Swiss 1-Day = $29 Championship (900+), Intermediate (u900), Booster (u500). June 2008 Supplement Rating will determine section unless accompanied by play up request.)
Fun Blitz Trophy Prizes = $12 1-2 Sections: Prizes based on rating point gains.
Quads (5/25) = $25 .
