- Rockefeller Qualifier represents CalChess in the National Tournament of Elementary School State Champions (K-5)

Prize Fund
Each section's winner gets $300 cash after they represent CalChess in the National Tournament of Champions in St. Louis, Missouri from August 8 to 11, 2020 -
Sections & Entry Fees
- Grades 9 – 12 rated 1800+
- Grades 6 – 8 rated 1700+
- KG – Grade 5 rated 1600+
Late/onsite Fee: 20 after 3/21

How to Register
- Register online (by midnight before the event) or onsite
- Reconfirm that we you have your preferred email address in your user profile (so you can receive orientation & other notifications)
- Save your confirmation/payment email and bring to the tournament in case there is any confusion about your ID or name

Membership Requirement
- US Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required.
- Please confirm your membership at bayareachess.com/uscfid and renew it here if expired.
- US Chess Membership annual fees are based on age:
- 12 & under = 17
- 13-15 = 22
- 16-24 = 26
- 25+ = 40

Electronic Devices
- Phones:
- Please turn off all phones in the playing area.
- The TD may forfeit anyone found operating a phone during an active game.
- Electronic Recording Devices:
- Please come to the registration desk 20 minutes before your first round to get an Authorization Tag for any electronic recording device before using it.
- The TD may confiscate any devices without an Authorization Tag.
